Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Treatments

At Kuhar Medical, we offer PRP treatments in the safety and comfort of our Bucks County medical office. Platelet-Rich Plasma, or PRP, uses nutrients extracted from the client’s own blood to promote healthier skin or to stimulate hair growth on the scalp.

Adding PRP to a microneedling treatment helps promote production of collagen, the protein responsible for skin elasticity.

How It Works

1. DRAW BLOOD

We draw a small amount of blood from the arm.

2. SPIN BLOOD

Using a centrifuge, we spin the blood in order to isolate PRP.

3. APPLY PRP

Once PRP is extracted, we use it to complete the procedure.
